The FCC plans a series of spectrum auctions which will help the U.S. maintain the lead in 5G development, agency chairman Ajit Pai says. AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, which are seeking to merge, will be among the players looking to secure spectrum holdings for 5G deployment.
